With a career spanning over two decades, Paithankar brings experience in driving growth, innovation, and sustainability in his practices. Before joining Waaree, he was managing director - South Asia at Emerson Electric. In his new role as CEO, he will be responsible for driving Waarees growth in the renewable energy sector. "With the solar industry continually evolving, this is an opportune moment for significant growth in the near future. I look forward to making a meaningful contribution to the companys objective of providing sustainable energy solutions," Paithankar said. As of June 30, last year, Waaree operates four solar module manufacturing facilities in India, with international presence.

Amit is the Chief Executive Officer at Waaree Group since March 2024. He is a growth-oriented leader skilled in negotiation and deal closure. Previously, he served as the Group President and Member of the Management Board at ReNew from December 2022 to March 2024. Prior to that, he held various roles at Emerson from May 2003 to December 2022, including Vice President, Managing Director South Asia, and Vice President Sales. He also worked as a Scientist at ABB for four years and as an Executive at Crompton Greaves Limited. Amit holds an MBA from London School of Business and Finance (2017-2019) and a BEE from VJTI (1989-1993).

Manufacturer and supplier of solar-integrated products and control systems based in Mumbai, India. The companys solar photovoltaic (PV) modules are manufactured in its automated production facility and are used in on-grid and off-grid applications and also offers engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for setting up solar power plants and rooftop applications
